It's quite amazing to find all those little things that pregnancy does to your body which you never even heard of.
I know that some women get stretch marks and so far I have no signs of them. But for a few days now I noticed a black line from below my bellybutton, right over it and than up in a straight line...
I checked online and it's called linea negra and is quite normal. It says that mainly dark skinned women to get this. I'm the complete opposite. I am so white that people often ask me if I am well or need to sit down... So I guess I shouldn't be surprised that it stands out like a sore thumb!
I kept thinking I imagined it, but my husband looked yesterday and he confirmed. And as there even is a name for it...
Oh, and my belly button starts turning inside out. It's not quite there yet which looks funny. I always had an odd belly button and I remember my parents telling me that my belly buttton didn't go in until I was well past the age it should have. So it looks a little funny.
Well, I don't mind. It comes with my baby. Only a week now until the anomality scan.
Everything went well at the dentist. I had to wait forever so I lost my lunch break and more. She did a full cleaning of the plaque and put some stuff on the gums to heal and gave me some tips how to deal with my tight teeth in a small gum (even she admitted that flossing is not possible because they are so close together). She asked me to come back a month before birth to do a last minute clean-up before the baby arrives and said the bleeding might be a little worse for a few days but then should get better if I manage to clean through the bleeding.
