Baby shopping
I know I said I wouldn't buy any baby things until after the next scan? Well, it's really hard. It was okay until we had to use the supermarket promotion to get things at such a good price, but now I'm bitten by the bug. I bought a sleeping bag on Ebay and am about to buy a baby bath support for the baby bath we bought (for £5 in Ikea!). In the supermarket yesterday I converted a few more vouchers and bought a baby activity mat (normally £64 and I used £30 reward vouchers for it so it was practically free, 2 baby 3-in-1 comforters for nursing privacy and belching blanket, 4 more breast milk storage pots (I hope I can breastfeed and it seems to make sense to have these to help) and a bottle warmer. I read that the baby can have the extracted milk at room temperature. But it seems mean that I make it drink cold milk when my husband feeds her so I can get a sleep in (which he'll hopefully do) and warm when I feed it directly. And it is meant to keep the nutrients in. I have so many Tommee Tippee things now - it's a shame they don't have a reward program...
